Clue/Question: The group of lions they considered to be their family was their – – –
Answer: PRIDE AND JOY
(Aaw! Look at all those pretty kitties. They’re just chillin’, like one big happy family. Of course they’re probably well fed, after finishing a fresh kill. Possibly an antelope. Perhaps a springbok. Or, maybe even a wildebeest. They are all very satisfying.
Believe it, or not, it looks like Hoyt has given us a new clue word in “nifty”. It’s not currently on the ralis95 clue word database, and since it’s only five letters long . . . it couldn’t have been used on some previous Sunday. And, all of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me. The answer letter layout was an earnest eleven letter jumble. It was very nicely cryptic. But the final answer came to me immediately anyway.
Really great cartoon. Lions sometimes look like big house cats. But don’t climb over the barrier at the zoo, to try to pet them . . . or to take a friggin’ selfie! You might think they want to play, but to them you’re just prey. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to Joan Jett!
Never mind jaws or paws; their tongue can strip the flesh clean out of the bones.
That’s right, Wes! Kind of like a rasp! You can even feel it with little house cats. Imagine the tongue of one of the big cats!!! — YUR
I miss my cats.
