(Set ’em up. Knock ’em down! Set ’em up. Knock ’em down! Bowlin’, bowlin’, bowlin. Keep them Jumblers rollin’. Keep them Jumblers rollin’ . . . Naugahyde! Been quite a while since we’ve seen David L. Hoyt in a Jumble cartoon. Let alone him AND Jeff Knurek. More often we see just Jeff, or Jeff and one or more of his family members. It’s nice to see ol’ chrome dome again! Hey, maybe David could audition for the part of Blofeld, in the next Bond film! LOL! I hope he’s not allergic to cats!
Monsieur Hoyt chose to use all well-seasoned clue words for this Jumble. However, he was very careful to craft all original jumbles this day. None of them stumped yer uncle though. His answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble. I found it suitably cryptic. I think the clue/question’s leading nature, and the final answer slots were the big clues.
Great cartoon of Jeff and David – and company – at a bowling alley. Maybe one of the boys will chime in and reveal the identity of the other two teammates. Bowling is a lot of fun. Hi UR. The woman in today’s cartoon is Tracy Clark, Jumble Editor, and the author of many thrilling mystery novels. I read her books, and she’s the real deal. The man is Colin, the tech genius behind David’s WSWT App. I play WSWT every day…and I was so happy to congratulate Colin this morning on his making it into the “big time”! 😉 He’s the sweetest man. And, if I may, I recommend the works of both of them. All Tracy’s books are definitely page turners, and if you haven’t downloaded and played David’s WSWT, you don’t know what you’re missing. I grew up with both cats and dogs! And the occasional fringe critter. During my bachelor days I had a cat, that I kind of inherited. Big beautiful Russian Blue! Not surprisingly – wink, wink – the Brooklyn Italian girl, whom I dated for a bit, did NOT like the cat! Imagine that! LOL! 😆😂🤣

East New York!!! With an ITALIAN girl??? What year was that, Ken? I resided in NYC in the early ’80s, and I don’t remember many Italians in East New York, if any. Well, maybe. There were some hold outs in Bed-Stuy around then. — YUR

Back in the early days, when I was the only Jumble Spoiler on the webs, the guys could reference/include me in the occasional Jumble. I’m happy to have my two framed original artwork from those days.
