I remember once, years ago reading a biography of Ava Gardner, and how it stated the dissolution of her first marriage was at the hand of Mickey Rooney’s infidelity. And this was a twenty year old woman at the height of her beauty! Ms.Gardner said that Mr. Rooney claimed his mother worked for a time as a prostitute, which diluted his moral compass with regard to women.
There’s a moral in there somewhere.
