Answer: BORE THE BRUNT OF IT
(An excellent Jumble pun! Utilizing a wonderful phrase! Haven’t heard it in a while. Hopefully, the guy is using a concrete/masonry drill bit. If not, they could be in for a long day, and the drill is likely going to overheat.
No new clue words. Three of the jumbles came up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “bireb” before. I don’t believe I struggled to get any of these words. The answer letter layout was a thrilling thirteen letter jumble. The final answer slots helped in getting the final answer. Being familiar with the phrase helped too.
Workmanlike cartoon! Well, what did you expect? It’s good that the guy was wearing safety goggles and work gloves. It looks like the drill is already starting to overheat. The guy might be relying on the sledge hammer sooner than he expects. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
