Clue/Question: The mobile food vendor sold hot dogs, pretzels, soft drinks and more – – –
Answer: A LA “CART“
(Food carts are ubiquitous in Manhattan. Especially in high tourist areas, like down in the Battery, Wall Street, Greenwich Village, Time Square and the Theater District, and all around Central Park and the Museum Mile. Some are more reasonable than others, depending on their location. Every now and then I get a hankering for a good ol’ dirty water dog! More times than not they are Sabrett hot dogs. But there are also a lot of specialty carts, not just your basic hot dog carts.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new for me. Only “tarreh” has definitely been used. And, that’s the only one to trip me up some. The answer letter layout was a slight seven letter jumble. But the final answer was fairly obvious to me.
