“The right to be let alone is indeed the beginning of all freedom.” — William O. Douglas
(Looks like someone forgot that this quote – minus an F – was used two weeks ago, on June the 16th! Maybe someone was thinking about my Dad again! Be well and do good, friends.) —YUR

Happy birthday to Tom Drummond of Better Than Ezra!
Clue/Question: She wanted the horse to jump over the fence, but the horse was a – – –
Answer: “NEIGH–SAYER“
(Nay, I say! A thousand times Nay! I shan’t jump, nor gallop, nor trot. This is a horse standing up for his/her equine rights. Certain things are natural for horses, while other things are unnatural. The unnatural things take a good deal of painful training, that many people say are inhumane. No animal deserves to be treated inhumanely! Especially not for human entertainment! Nor should we be “experimenting/teaching” using beagle pups. Med schools need to end this archaic practice.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. But all of the jumbles are coming up as new for me. No stumpers for me though. The answer letter layout was a tasty ten letter jumble. It was terrifically cryptic.
Another great talking horse cartoon, from Mr. Knurek. Fine fence too. That is all folks. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
