Answer: “PEACHFRONT“ HOME
(A very tasty pun, indeed! All in all, I’m a pretty big lover of fruits. Mainly the fruitier fruits, but I do also enjoy many of the fruits that many/most of us believe to be vegetables. Most of us already knew that tomatoes are fruits, but also cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins and squashes, olives, eggplants, sweetcorn, avocados and green beans are all fruits! I’m not a big fan of tomatoes, but I love what you can make from them! Oh, but I DO like fried green tomatoes! Yum! Very tasty. Battered and fried is how I prefer my eggplant too. Okay, not as healthy, but still better than junk food. Pit/stone fruits are some of my favorites. I can eat Bing cherries until the cows come home! That’s why I’m in my glory right now. Between the cherries and the strawberries I’m in fruit heaven! Plums, apricots, nectarines and peaches are super great summer fruits. A lot of people can’t eat them because they get an allergic reaction from pit/stone fruits. From just a mild scratchy feeling in their throat to downright anaphylaxis! Not cool. Fortunately, not me.
All of today’s clue words have been frequently used in prior Jumbles. However, five of the jumbles are coming up as fresh picked! The only one we’ve definitely seen is “dunofe”. I had a little trouble with both “troese” and “oimcen”, but I didn’t have to skip them, or anything. The answer letter layout was a fantastic fourteen letter jumble. Initially, I thought I was going to have trouble getting the final answer, but after I checked off PEACH I was able to see FRONT, which, of course, gives the pun on Beachfront. And, from the MHEO it was a quick trip HOME! Nice job, Hoyty-toyty!
Jeff’s characters must be using medical marijuana, as recreational usage is still a misdemeanor, in Georgia. Does anyone else think they look . . . a little high? LOL! Must be a fancy, modern farmhouse. I just read that California is the state that produces the most peaches! By a longshot too! But, I’m sure that folks in Georgia will argue that it’s quality, not quantity. Challenging Sunday Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys!
The dialogue tells us It’s early morning, UR…they just woke up. Notice the woman is enjoying her morning brew? It’s just the Sandman they’re dealing with! Have a good one, UR. Be well and stay safe…🍑🙋🏻♀️

Unc,
Please don’t make comments like that too obvious.
I live here in Georgia, but since I can’t be sure how many of us see your blog I don’t know if I can cover for you. 🤫
People down here are sensitive about their peaches; even those in the cities, like Atlanta where I am, and even people next door in South Carolina.
They are nice folks but they will come look for you to have a little talk. 🤐
Ay yi yi! Some people just don’t seem to have a sense of humor! It was a JOKE . . . and a pun, because they were UP on their terrace. — YUR
LOL! Now, now, let’s not go there…You know I have a very healthy sense of humor, thank you! 😉 And of course, I too noticed those very heavy-lidded eyes..I was just looking to get some JUICE out of the puzzle. Definitely not meaning to PIT us, one against the other. Ok..As long as we’re still on the UP and UP! 😉 Have a good one, UR. And stay cool…this heat looks like it’s not leaving any time soon…🍑🙋🏻♀️
Explain to “your folk”, lwc, that numbers don’t lie! If they don’t like it they can take it up with the USDA. LOL! Besides, Georgians can still argue that it’s quality, not quantity! Georgia peaches rule! — YUR
Maybe try acknowledging it next time??? — YUR

Unc, I think our Angie has been reading Ken’s posts as long as I have, and his style may be contagious. It’s something we might want to watch. 🧐 😶
Angela is more of a punster, while Ken is a storyteller of the . . . peculiar. Like all of us they have their pluses and minuses. — YUR
I’ll weigh in on the peaches. IMHO … California may grow more peaches … but have you ever had any of the said peaches? They are like baseballs. I’m thinking their main crops must go to canners. AND, Georgia and South Carolina peaches — NOTHING FINER!!!! And, I’ve certainly never heard anyone utter the phrase — “Oh Boy, the California peaches are in.” LL
