“Never allow your child to call you by your first name. He hasn’t known you long enough.” — Fran Lebowitz
(Known for her books . . . not for her looks. Just the opposite of yer uncle! I think my dear departed Dad was prettier than she is. But she was born and raised in Mo-town, NJ! And, she had mega problems with Algebra, just like yer uncle did. Maybe, she’s my older sister? Nah! This might be the closest thing to a Father’s Day quote that Rebecca has ever given us! She seems to have her issues, so we’ll take what we can get. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Gee, Unc !
I’m surprised at your comment on Ms Lebowitz’s looks. Not that I disagree, it just doesn’t sound like the gracious Unc I’ve gotten accustomed to.
But, be that as it may; some may not think I’m such a great looker either. C’est la guerre !
Normally, I go out of my way NOT to be critical of anybody’s looks, lwc. But when her Wikipedia page started with: “Known for her books . . .” I just couldn’t resist the urge to make a relevant rhyme. She’s considered a public figure, and my little dig would only be considered opinion, and not false/defamatory. — YUR
Fran Lebowitz: “known for her…”
Unc,
I think I see the temptation you were facing; that phrase was used five times.
It’s kind of hard not to make something of it.
There ya go! — YUR
