Answer: LEARNING CURVE
(Excellent baseball pun! Not stinky, really. And, it is seasonally appropriate! I’m loving the Major League Baseball season, so far this year. My Mets are in first place in the National League East, and the guys’ Cubbies are in first in the NL Central. My guys weren’t able to pull off the four game sweep – as we lost to the Cubs tonight – but we won three out of four! And, the Mets are doing it with a number of their starters on the Injured Reserve List. So, I’m a happy camper!
No new clue words today. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me. But we have seen “vnare” sometime before. I thought that “rmyigl” was fairly challenging, but I really struggled to unscramble “rmnaat”. I had to back into it. First time in a very long time. Good thing it was the last clue word. I had enough of the answer letter layout, without the ANR, to see CURVE, and then figured out LEARNING. A very impressive thirteen letter jumble though! Good job, Hoyt!
Fine little league-ish cartoon. I like that Jeff decided to mix it up a little bit, and went with Scramblers, instead of going with Jumblers. A nice, challenging Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
