Clue/Question:  The Roman numerals’ convention didn’t need security because there was – – –

Answer:  SAFETY IN NUMBERS

(Just like our mom always said when we were kids!  “I don’t want you going there alone, but you can go if you’re with friends.”  Most of these old adages are things my Mom used to say.  Not so much my Dad.  I think she had a better command of the English language than my Dad did.  He was kinda funny with some of his malapropisms though!

All familiar clue words today.  Five of the jumbles appear to be new.  Strangely, we’ve seen “apoitu” before.  Strangely because that’s the only jumble that tripped me up some.  Had to skip it and come back to it.  The answer letter layout was a fabulous fifteen letter jumble.  If it wasn’t for the leading nature of the clue/question this might have stumped me.  But I saw the final answer right away.

Cute cartoon of letters looking down on Roman numerals.  But . . . “Go alphabetize yourself!”???  What the L???  LOL!  Sorry about yesterday’s Jumble Spoiler being so late.  I was cutting the lawn yesterday, then got caught up in watching “The Shawshank Redemption”!  For my money, that is one of the best movies of all time!  And, never should’ve lost out on the Oscar to that dopey “Forrest Gump”.  I love Tom Hanks, but that was such a silly-ass, ridiculous movie.  I also caught parts of “Saving Private Ryan”, but it started late, and I knew I probably wouldn’t finish it.  Now, THAT’S a great Tom Hanks movie!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
