“I dig my fingers deep into the soft earth. I can feel its energy, and my spirits soar.” — Helen Hayes
(For many people gardening can be like a religious experience. You’re communing with nature, and you can be one with the universe. I used to enjoy the planting of trees and shrubs and flowers. It’s the upkeep that I never enjoyed. Ms. Hayes used to live in a beautiful house, in Nyack, NY, overlooking the Hudson River. She called it Pretty Penny! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to Donnie Van Zant of .38 Special!
I really bungled this one, UR, starting off with A MAN IS … A lot of erasures before I got to HELEN HAYES!
That is indicative of a logical thinker, hal. A MAN IS was my first inclination too! But I never commit pen to paper until I’m 85 – 90% sure I’m headed in the right direction. My assumption of the E was a good start, but at first I thought the author might be PETER something. My catalyst for this crypt was seeing the word ENERGY. That’s when things started to fall into place. — YUR
