Clue/Question:  She wanted the horse to jump over the fence, but the horse was a – – –

4 Reasons Why Horses Show Their Teeth

Answer:  NEIGHSAYER

(Nay, I say!  A thousand times Nay!  I shan’t jump, nor gallop, nor trot.  This is a horse standing up for his/her equine rights.  Certain things are natural for horses, while other things are unnatural.  The unnatural things take a good deal of painful training, that many people say are inhumane.  No animal deserves to be treated inhumanely!  Especially not for human entertainment!  Nor should we be “experimenting/teaching” using beagle pups.  Med schools need to end this archaic practice.

All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends.  But all of the jumbles are coming up as new for me.  No stumpers for me though.  The answer letter layout was a tasty ten letter jumble.  It was terrifically cryptic.

Another great talking horse cartoon, from Mr. Knurek.  Fine fence too.  That is all folks.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

DPATA  =  ADAPT,  GFYOG  =  FOGGY,  YLGELA  =  GALLEY,  RPROLA  =  PARLOR   —   Giving us:  AGGGAO

Clue/Question:  When Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta appears live in concert, people – – –

Lady Gaga Protests Arizona Immigration Law at Phoenix Concert | Billboard

Answer:  GO GAGA

(Maybe I’m . . . Uncle Gaga?  And, all of you are my “Little Monsters”!  LOL!  Of course, I don’t think I could carry off most of those costumes.  I mean I DO have the legs for them, but . . . Fun Jumble!  What was hal saying the other day about a blind hog finding the occasional acorn?  Purely coincidental, folks.  But, I may be putting a couple of bucks down on Mega Millions or Power Ball.  “Hey!  You never know!”

All good old clue words today.  Three of the jumbles came up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “dpata” before.  I had a little trouble seeing “galley”, and I didn’t have the patience, so I backed into “parlor”.  Great jumbles, Hoyt!  The answer letter layout was a quick six letter jumble.  Couldn’t hide that final answer though.

Cute concert cartoon!  That is quite an outfit.  Is it based on something she actually wore one time, or is this purely Jeff’s imagination?  I love how Lady Gaga will throw herself into all kinds of genres.  She blew me away when she performed with Metallica at that Super Bowl a few years ago!  Be well and do Good, friends.)   —   YUR

Front and back of Mount Rushmore : MemeTemplatesOfficial

Visual Description:  Guy talk!

THACM  =  MATCH,  RUCTO  =  COURT,  VCATIE  =  ACTIVE,  CRIFEE  =  FIERCE   —   Giving us:  MCTAEFIE

Clue/Question:  Rushmore’s Presidents can talk to each other so much thanks to all the – – –

apushcanvas / Native Americans - Cultures in Crisis | Native american tribes, Native american indians, Native american art

Answer:  FACE TIME

(A modern twist on a well worn Jumble cartoon scenario!  It’s still a stinky pun, but it’s a fresher stinky pun!  It’s kind of like a presidential version of “The View”, or “The Talk”.  Just the boys, discussing vanity issues.  Of course T.J. is the most concerned with his wrinkles.  And, old George seems more than happy to point them out to him!  And, Teddy and Abe are discussing facial hair envy.  Thank God Whoopee, Joy and Meghan have more relevant/pertinent discussions!

All of today’s clue words are founding fathers of the ralis95 clue word database.  And, only one of the jumbles is coming up as new, as we’ve seen “ructo”, “vcatie” and “crifee” in earlier Jumbles.  Hey, Randy!  FIERCE is a good example of the I before E, except after C, thing working!  It’s got that E sound.  Surprisingly, I had some trouble unscrambling “ructo”!  The jumble made me look for a two syllable word.  Good jumble.  Excellent eight letter answer letter layout too.  Sufficiently cryptic.

Typical top-notch Mount Rushmore cartoon from Monsieur Knurek.  Apparently, cracks are a significant issue with the 80 year old – since completion – memorial.  So, if you’ve been meaning to go, maybe plan getting there sooner than later.  Just know that you’ll be viewing it from quite a distance, so it might not look as big as you see in most pictures of it.  And, they REALLY should rename it, in honor of the Lakota Sioux people.  Charles Rushmore was just a New York City lawyer who happened to be working out there for a mining company!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Visual Description:  “Moving to the country.  Gonna eat a lot of peaches.”

DUNOFE  =  FONDUE,  PAUSMC  =  CAMPUS,  VRHEIT  =  THRIVE,  TROESE  =  STEREO,  CSWEHA  =  CASHEW,  OIMCEN  =  INCOME   —   Giving us:  FONMPTHREEAHCO

Pre-Answer:  Two Words  “(10-letters)”  (4-letters)

Where you can still find a fresh peach in Georgia

Answer:  PEACHFRONT HOME

(A very tasty pun, indeed!  All in all, I’m a pretty big lover of fruits.  Mainly the fruitier fruits, but I do also enjoy many of the fruits that many/most of us believe to be vegetables.  Most of us already knew that tomatoes are fruits, but also cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins and squashes, olives, eggplants, sweetcorn, avocados and green beans are all fruits!  I’m not a big fan of tomatoes, but I love what you can make from them!  Oh, but I DO like fried green tomatoes!  Yum!  Very tasty.  Battered and fried is how I prefer my eggplant too.  Okay, not as healthy, but still better than junk food.  Pit/stone fruits are some of my favorites.  I can eat Bing cherries until the cows come home!  That’s why I’m in my glory right now.  Between the cherries and the strawberries I’m in fruit heaven!  Plums, apricots, nectarines and peaches are super great summer fruits.  A lot of people can’t eat them because they get an allergic reaction from pit/stone fruits.  From just a mild scratchy feeling in their throat to downright anaphylaxis!  Not cool.  Fortunately, not me.

All of today’s clue words have been frequently used in prior Jumbles.  However, five of the jumbles are coming up as fresh picked!  The only one we’ve definitely seen is “dunofe”.  I had a little trouble with both “troese” and “oimcen”, but I didn’t have to skip them, or anything.  The answer letter layout was a fantastic fourteen letter jumble.  Initially, I thought I was going to have trouble getting the final answer, but after I checked off PEACH I was able to see FRONT, which, of course, gives the pun on Beachfront.  And, from the MHEO it was a quick trip HOME!  Nice job, Hoyty-toyty!

Jeff’s characters must be using medical marijuana, as recreational usage is still a misdemeanor, in Georgia.  Does anyone else think they look . . . a little high?  LOL!  Must be a fancy, modern farmhouse.  I just read that California is the state that produces the most peaches!  By a longshot too!  But, I’m sure that folks in Georgia will argue that it’s quality, not quantity.  Challenging Sunday Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Whatchamacallit Candy Bar Unwrapping - YouTube

Answer:  DOODADS

(Dads do like to dabble in doohickeys!  Clearly, this is the inventor of the Whatchmacallit candy bar, a Hershey product that first came out in 1978.  Despite it not being heavily marketed since the 1980s, it’s still being produced today.  They also came out – briefly – with a candy bar called Thingamajig, and just recently they started producing the Whozeewhatzit!  I kid you not!  They all contain some kind of peanut butter flavoring, so they are not on my list of candies.  Ever since I got airsick after eating a Clark Bar back in 1963!  The funny thing is I still love peanut butter, and I still love chocolate.  Just not together.  Interestingly, I CAN tolerate peanuts in chocolate!  Although I don’t go out of my way to eat the combination.  Why am I puttering so with strange, and aged, candy bars?  Because I can!  LOL!

All of today’s clue words are longtime members of the ralis95 clue word database.  However, Monsieur Hoyt has come up with all new jumbles for them today.  Surprisingly, I had a bit of trouble with “dornap”.  I beg your PARDON.  The answer letter layout was a slight seven letter jumble.  Nicely cryptic.  You had to pick up on the words “devices” and “gadgets”, and that the teens’ Pops was the tinkerer.

Great cartoon of someone that Jeff admires, and his kids.  You can always tell from the non-generic depictions.  Knowing that Jeff is a big magic buff, I’d guess that the main character is David Copperfield.  But that would just be a guess.  I’m sure that someone will chime in with some details.  And, maybe Ken will entertain us by utilizing today’s clue words!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
