“A ship is always referred to as “she” because it costs so much to keep one in paint and powder.” — Chester Nimitz
(Now, now, ladies! No need getting your knickers all in a twist. It’s just a little dated – yet still valid in my book – humor. Please resist your urge to vandalize, or destroy, statues of the man. He’s still an American hero . . . pretty much like all the others whose statues have been defaced, destroyed, or removed. The United States is supposed to be a country of tolerance, not over zealousness. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to Jewel!
How difficult it is to stay sane in these difficult times. The pandemic and quarantine have brought distorted behaviors out of reality and people lose their minds. That vandalizing statues is one of them. Greetings Yur.
Yeah, but the people who are doing all of this think that they are the virtuous ones. But to me they are no better than ISIS or the Philistines, or the early Christians. Through their zealotry they do the country, and the world, a great disservice. — YUR
For their works, they are known. Unfortunately, we have to live with them.
