Clue/Question: To quiet the dogs that were asking for food, they gave them a few – – –
Answer: HUSH PUPPIES
(I guess hush puppies are appetizers, but I always thought of them as more of a side dish . . . for various fried fish dishes. I haven’t had them in ages, but I do like them. They are also a brand of casual shoes. At least I think they still are. I haven’t seen any advertisements for them in quite a while. They used to feature a Basset Hound!
No new clue words today. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we have seen “geehd” before. The answer letter layout was an elevated eleven letter jumble. Nothing about it was obvious. It took me a few seconds to see the final answer.
Cute outdoor dining scene. Jeff and Kathy brought their little doggies along. The waiter does not seem to be amused though. Nor the diner behind Jeff. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
