“You can build on yesterday’s success or put its failures behind and start over again.” — Bob Feller
(“Bullet Bob”! That’s the kind of attitude it takes to become one of baseball’s all-time great pitchers. If he hadn’t spent four seasons in the Navy, during WWII, he could’ve had a hundred or more victories too. We welcome Bob to the Cryptoquote Club today. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

UR,
First sports “hero” I ever met up close and personal…in a restaurant/bar restroom, of all places…I had forgot my comb and he lent me his and said, “Keep it kid”…I was 15 at the time…must be true, it’s soo corny??¿
Bob Feller…Even though he missed four of his prime years due to his service to his country he is still regarded as one of the ten greatest pitchers of all time by many sports analysis*…
From the farms of…….
Play ball!!…Lattttter…….k
I’m not familiar with Bob Feller’s playing career, but I recall seeing him as a TV personality; although I can’t currently recall in what capacity on TV.
Bob Feller’s last year playing was in 1956, before I was born, so I never saw him play. But, he was a legendary pitcher. As a fan of the game, I had often heard/seen him on televised games, as he was also a spokesman for MLB. I don’t remember him as a TV personality though. Just someone who the announcers and analyst loved to have on. — YUR
