Pre-Answer: Three Words (4-letters) (3-letters) (7-letters)
Answer: SANG HIS PRAISES
(An excellent stinky pun . . . in the highest! Initially, Isaac caught some flack for his clever rhymes. Even got punished for them. But that didn’t sway him from writing some 750 hymns. From my secular standpoint, his best known song is the popular Christmas standard “Joy to the World”. I’m sure some of you indoctrinated types have your own favorites though.
All of today’s clue words are popular old standards. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, to me. However, we have definitely seen “capect”, “tguino” and “syrags” at some point in time. Surprisingly, none of them gave me any trouble today. The answer letter layout was a fabulous fourteen letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it. But the final answer came to me immediately. Almost as if by . . . divine intervention? Nah! Yer uncle was just on his game this morning.
Marvelous choral scene cartoon. Great Ish Kabibble haircuts on the choir boys! A very fine likeness of Mr. Watts, and other wigged ones of his era. To this very day folks are singing . . . his praises! Be well and do good, friends.) —YUR
