Clue/Question: They designed their food truck to have – – –
Answer: CURB APPEAL
(In a way this isn’t really a pun. I know “curb appeal” is a term usually applied to a house, but it could easily apply to just about any vehicle parked on the street as well. Most people put a lot of thought into what their food trucks look like. They want them to stand out, but also be representational of what they sell. And, they want them to be welcoming. Food trucks are a popular staple at street fairs and other public – and private – events.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. Two of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “mlupp” and “beiad” sometime before. They all popped off the page for me today! The answer letter layout was a terrific ten letter jumble. Sufficiently cryptic. But I don’t think very many struggled to get the final answer.
Fine cartoon of folks queuing up at a “Betty’s Bowls”. They’re all “socially distanced”. It looks like the truck specializes in some kind of Asian cuisine. I’m spying some chopsticks in the logo. Fun Monday fare. Nice job, David and Jeff. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
