Jumble Spoiler – 03/16/21

Clue/Question:  It was clear that the two suspects weren’t telling the truth to the police and were – – –

Answer:  ALLIES

(Yes, they were allies and ALL LIES.  And, they likely had aliases!  And, priors.  Probably rap sheets a mile long, as the story often goes.  But neither of them look like criminal masterminds, so the detectives will probably get one of them to flip.  I’ve been watching cop shows since I was yea high!  I started with “Adam-12”, then “Dragnet”.  Maybe even reruns of “Highway Patrol” with that fat-faced guy, Broderick Crawford.  Now it’s “Chicago PD” and “Blue Bloods”.  I’ve probably watched most of the cop shows over the years.

Today’s clue words were all the usual suspects.  Three of the jumbles appear to be first timers, but “lentk” is definitely a repeat offender!  The answer letter layout was six letters on the lam, but we caught up to them forthwith! 

I don;t think you can converse between interrogation rooms, Jeff!  It’s not like being on the cell block.  They are contained rooms.  Aah!  Maybe this is a low-rent police department!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
