(This “self-help” guy has been called “the most famous conman you’ve probably never heard of”.  Maybe he was the inspiration for that Keith Raniere guy?  Clearly, Keith took things way too far, but ya gotta hand it to guys like Napoleon Hill.  He took the “fake it, til you make it” approach . . . and made it.  Nowadays, companies are more concerned with all these crazy degrees and certifications, without bothering to see who somebody actually is, and what kind of potential they might have.  More power to those who do it their own way!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 02/27/21

Answer:  BANNED THE BAND

(Of course, there’s always a certain amount of truth behind all stereotypes!  There are tales of certain bands who trashed their hotel rooms, back in the day.  Especially, back when there was a huge drug connection with Rock bands.  Thankfully, that has largely died down.

David L. Hoyt has given us another new clue word, in “bayou”.  More work for ralis95, and his world famous clue word database.  That’s three new clue words just this week!  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me.  But, we’ve definitely seen “tenniy” before.  The answer letter layout was a tidy ten letter jumble.  But, all the repeating B’s, A’s, D’s and N’s made for a quick solve.

Great cartoon of an exaggerated rock band destroyed hotel suite.  I think some bands broke lamps and TVs, and probably punched a few holes in the wall, etc.  But, spray painting the walls and setting fire to a mattress is a bit much.  Coulda happened, I suppose.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
