“Leave who you were. Love who you are. Look forward to who you will become.” — Source Obscure
(Good advice. But, I certainly don’t look forward to being some shriveled up prune of a human, on a ventilator! That’s sort of how both of my parents went. That’s why I don’t smoke, and I only drink in moderation. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Clue/Question: For the student doing homework, looking up the definition of “finale” was a – – –
Answer: MEANS TO AN END
(It’s nice to see some families stressing self-reliance. Too many parents today are too hands off when it comes to their children’s homework. And, left to their own devices, too many kids are just Googling their homework questions, instead of doing the required reading. In some ways, I imagine it’s harder than ever to be a good parent. So glad that my kids are grown up.
No new clue words today. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “neypn” before. None of them stumped me at all today. The answer letter layout was another tremendous twelve letter jumble. However, the final answer came to me immediately. I guess it was a combination of the cartoon’s dialog, the clue/question, and the arrangement of final answer slots.
Great domestic family scene cartoon. It looks like Mom is doing the Jumble, and nobody is watching TV! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
