Yes, Canadians speak better French, but I can understand Cajuns, but I must listen carefully.
Back in 2010, when I was working for the U.S. Census, I tried to use my high school French to communicate with this 86 year old Haitian woman. Neither one of us understood a thing either of us was saying. But, we both had a good laugh! — YUR
