(A strongly aromatic, piquant and pun-gent pun! If this made you groan then maybe the Jumble is not for you. Go do the Sudoku, or the Word Search, or the New York Times Crossword Puzzle, by Will Shortz. I haven’t done one of those in ages Mondays and Tuesdays are no problem, but later in the week are tough! My paper carries the L.A. Times crossword. Much more manageable. Although, they also get tougher as the week wears on.
No new clue words today. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “taaeb” somewhere in our illustrious past. It took me a few looks to see “belong”! The answer letter layout was a nice nine letter jumble. Ninely cryptic! The young man’s dialog, and the layout of the final answer slots, made for a quick solve.
Great family scene cartoon. It looks like Junior is all grown up! Good for him. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
