Answer: “GUEST–IMATED“
(Great pun of a pun . . . I guess! Or, should that be a sonuva pun? An estimate is usually based on a certain amount of knowledge. When you really haven’t a clue you make more of a guess-timate.
There’s No Vacancy at the ralis95 clue word database, but that doesn’t matter at all today. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve seen “gntie” sometime before. The answer letter layout was an enigmatic eleven letter jumble. But something about the quotation marks and the hyphen brought me the answer like a bellhop looking for a big tip.
Cute cartoon of a couple running an inn. I’d rather have seen Mary Fran and Bob Newhart, but I guest that’s been done before. Great show though. I haven’t seen it since the series ended. I wonder if it’s on MeTV or the COZI channel? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

It looks like you can watch some of season 1 episodes on tv.com. I have all 8 seasons s on dvd. Big fan of both. Newhart. I enjoyed when he was a psychiatrist better FWIW. I. Bought the DVDs because nothing like watching a 23 minute show in a 45 minute time frame on tv land and they have deleted some scenes. I am not seeing newhart on tv,so tv.com looks like your best bet.
Thanks, Randy. They were both great shows, because I’ve always found him hilarious. I actually liked “Newhart” better, because I really like fish-out-of-water scenarios. I loved “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “Third Rock From the Sun”. And, “Green Acres” to a lesser extent. I guess “Mork and Mindy” would also qualify. For my money, the finale of the “Newhart” may have been the best in television history. A hilarious take off on the show “Dallas”, with it’s *explanation* of bringing back Bobby from the dead.
