Clue/Question: They would work together to install the new shingles but needed to – – –

Answer: NAIL DOWN A TIME
(Beautiful! Seems like a fresh pun, to me. It looks like these roofers are trying to hammer out a schedule. Roofing jobs generally take a couple of days, sometimes just one, but then it’s usually a full day. Starting at 10:00 is a little late, but starting at 11:00 is really pushing it.
No new clue words again today. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we have seen “laplow” before. The answer letter layout was an impressive thirteen letter jumble. Nothing obvious there. The layout of the final answer slots was the biggest hint, for me.
Fine cartoon of some contractors. Big palette of shingles and Tyvek. It looks like this is either a new structure, or they’ve already removed existing shingles, as it looks like they’re down to the plywood. So, maybe they’re planning for day two! And, it sort of explains the late start times. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
