“We are at once the beneficiaries and the victims of our great technology. What man makes remakes man.” — James Feibleman
(James passed on in 1987, during the age of the VHS tape players. Remember: “Be Kind, Rewind”? Life was a bit more manageable back then. No available internet yet, so no Wi-Fi or blue tooth. No widely available cell phones. But, they did have beepers/pagers! We are virtual slaves to our technology today. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Clue/Question: How long their homemade kite would stay aloft was – – –
Answer: UP IN THE AIR
(I’m a little undecided. Is this pun a breath of fresh air, or has it been filtered and recycled? I’m sure that our *staff* of crack researchers will let us know if and when we might have seen this Jumble answer before.
None of today’s clue words are new, but three of the jumbles are coming up as new for me. The only one I can swear we’ve seen before is “mudhi”. The answer letter layout was a tenacious ten letter jumble. By itself, there was nothing obvious about it. But, with the final answer slots and the great cartoon, this was definitely one of the easier solves.
Cute cartoon of a dad and his two kids. He’s got to let his little girl her turn to fly the kite. She looks like she’s about to cry! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
