“He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” — Nietzsche
(If you can’t figure out a why to live then you are in deep doo-doo, folks. And, why do only humans worry about a why? Every other animal fights to live, without a care as to a why. People are such dopes. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. WordPress just took away my “Classic” Posting option! Well, I guess you get what you pay for! LOL! — YUR
UR,
Great quote & terrific picture!!*…….
Thx, Lattttter…….k
I would never have associated Friedrich Nietzche with Jonathan Livingston Seagull or with “inspirational” quotes, but I guess it fits …
LOL, hal! — YUR
WordPress “Classic” is gone ?
Don’t you hate it when you get comfortable enough with a system to make it work the way you need it…
…then they change it to make it work some other way.
And, we don’t get a vote !
We’re in complete agreement, lwc. Thankfully, this was a short lived issue, as the “Classic” editor was back for both of my spoilers today! This plagued Micheline for a while with her blog, but I think she got the “Classic” editor back too. Hopefully, they’ll continue to give me the option, because the “Block” method I had to use yesterday is very bare-bones. — YUR
Now that I think of it, I got kicked off the system right at about the time they made that change, then got back on when it came back.
Do I need to figure out how to protect my connection if they change their minds and take “Classic” off again ?
I really have no idea, lwc. I think we are pretty much at WordPress’ mercy. I’m thinking they’ll keep “Classic” for us old-timers, while the younguns will opt for the “Block” editor. I used “Block” that one time, and for how I post it was positively ponderous! I really can’t see the attraction.

I don’t recall using the “Block” format; so, apparently, I’ve been using the “Classic” as well.
I hate it when the young people change a system it took me a lifetime to learn.
