Clue/Question: When it comes to Thanksgiving turkey, he tended to eat a lot, which he – – –
Answer: KNEW FULL WELL
(Indeed! No stinky puns on Thanksgiving day. Everything smells like turkey, and mashed potatoes, and gravy, and green bean casserole, and candied sweet potatoes, and stuffed mushrooms, and jellied cranberry sauce, and stuffing . . . and stuffing . . . and stuffing! Guess what part of the meal I like most!
All of today’s clue words were traditional designations. Three of the jumbles came up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “lewbol” before. And, probably like before, it was the only one to give me trouble. I started to write BOWEL but ended up with an extra L. And, of course, those letters can also spell BELOW and ELBOW. The answer letter layout was a terrific twelve letter jumble. From the cartoon, and its dialog, I knew that FULL was in it. But, the phrase came to me fairly quickly.
Great cartoon of a relatively small family. Maybe Jeff’s brother’s family? Definitely someone that Jeff knows. Whenever the characters don’t look generic you know that Jeff has someone in mind. Whoever it is, I like his black lab! Be well and do good, friends. Happy Thanksgiving to all!) — YUR

A happy Thanksgiving, Yur. I will try to find the movie to see the celebration more closely. To a good time.

Thanks, Mac! If you celebrate it, I hope yours was happy too. — YUR
UR,
We should be thankful for what we do have and
fret not over what we don’t have now, for if it was ment to be, it shall come to pass…….k
My youngest daughter cooked her first full Thanksgiving Dinner and…was stress but Success!!*…….Amen to that☆
With much Thanksgiving, Lattttter…….k
For South America it is not celebrated but thank you for your wishes
Good Morning, UR..And a belated Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours…
The man in the cartoon that you’re wondering about is Jeff’s good friend, Mac King, the quirky magician noted for his fantastic comedic flair, who’s headlined in Vegas for years, and now has a contract that runs through 2023. You may have also seen him in the past, on one of his NBC-TV Specials, and on the Dave Letterman Show. With him are his wife, Jennifer Sils, and their daughter Elizabeth. Since Mac and Jennifer have hosted many a Thanksgiving dinner throughout the years in our Jumble puzzles, usually with a full house of characters, it looks like this year Mac took the Covid warnings to heart, and celebrated with just his immediate family and their dog. But Mac’s had a “leg” up on these puzzles…in fact, we’ve even seen him many years in a row, and I know for certain that the adorable lab has appeared with him in the puzzles of 2016 and 2018, (but was missing in 2017)…and unfortunately, I don’t know his name! And it’s also worth mentioning that last year, surprisingly, Mac wasn’t featured at all…Fowl play you may ask? IDK…but it’s safe to say that he’s usually the “stuff” the Jumble Thanksgiving puzzle is made of…Hope all is well, and stay safe out there…🦃🙋🏻♀️
Thanks, for the detailed low-down, Ange! I don’t share the same fascination for magicians as many do. Not being someone who is prone to *magical thinking*, I just know that there is always a logical explanation for what they do. I am very impressed by the sleight of hand skills they employ, and how they get you to watch one hand while they’re doing something with the other hand. But, that’s about it. Straight forward magicians are okay, but the only “magicians” that I’d call myself a real fan of are Penn & Teller. Their wry brand of comedy, mixed with the illusions, make for great entertainment.
Thanks for the pun-filled Thanksgiving greetings! Hope yours was just as satisfying.

Glad your day went well, Ken! — YUR
Hey UR. Check him out on YouTube…I really think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. He definitely gives P&T a run for their money. Thanksgiving? Different…And here’s to hoping we all stay sane, safe and healthy for Christmas…Have a good night…🙋🏻♀️
Ken,
Did your granddaughter enjoy the experience ?
The test is if she’ll do it again in the future.
Not quite sure what this comment pertains to, lwc. ??? — YUR
“granddaughter” ?
I misspoke… You wrote “youngest” daughter… and that she did thanksgiving dinner for the first time.
First time for anything can be a challenge. Next year she’ll be a veteran.
Be well, to you and yours.
My Thanksgiving was uneventful; I hope Christmas will be the same.
Okay. It wasn’t her first, but she did a terrific job! Uneventful is fine, as long as you have some good company. — YUR
Iwc,
Sry for the late comeback, and my youngest daughter did enjoy the task of the Thanksgiving Diner. She knew there would be stress but all work she did to become a doctor
rather prepares one for stress!^…The dinner, by my taste-buds, was better than expected (I didn’t mention this thought to her, just “good job”)
Byyyyy…….k
UR,
By the misspelling and missing “the” in the above comment tells me I need to be doing something else at 3 AM…HaHa on me…
Lattttter…….k
S’all good, bra! — YUR
Ken,
Next Thanksgiving, your youngest daughter will be a champ now that she’s broken-in.
