(How can anyone argue with such logic???  Alright, maybe a pie guy could, but I would side with the cake people.  And, it’s got to be a rich and decadent chocolate cake!  No namby pamby vanilla, or red velvet for me.  Ooh, I do like a nice lemon cake though!  And, I like coffee cakes with either cinnamon, or almond paste.  But, this time of year I do eat more than my share of pumpkin pie, and the occasional slice of pecan pie.  I probably like a greater variety of pies than I actually do cakes, because so many fruits lend them selves to making delicious pies.   But, I’ve never heard of a Thanksgiving cake.  Have you?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Apparently, an unknown phrase in the United Kingdom, as WordPress is highlighting “diggity” as a misspell!  These Limeys have never heard of Perry Como???  I wonder if they even know who Dagwood Bumstead is?!  I’ve been reading “Blondie” pretty much my entire life!  It’s the most reliable, and recognizable comic strip of all time.  And, both Blondie and Tootsie are some of my oldest crushes.

All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends too.  Three of the jumbles are reruns, with only “atgin” being new.  The answer letter layout was a tremendous thirteen letter jumble.  But, with so many repeating letters the final answer was pretty clear.

It was great seeing Dean Young taking over the Jumble reins for the day.  Dean is a true chip off the ol’ block!  Continuing in Chic’s footsteps.  If Dean ever retires, he’ll have to hand things over to John Marshall.  John’s a Southern Tier boy!  As long as I’m alive somebody needs produce more “Blondie” strips!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
