Sunday Jumble Spoiler – 11/01/20

Workplace hygiene: Is your office kitchen a health hazard?

Visual Description:  Trouble a brewin’!

NDUGOR  =  GROUND,  SUBDAR  =  ABSURD,  DSLEET  =  ELDEST,  UDPIMO  =  PODIUM,  DERTNO  =  RODENT,  ILCEIT  =  ELICIT   —   Giving us:  GRNAREESPMRNIIT

Clue/Question:  When it comes to making a filthy mess, mold and mildew are – – –

Pre-Answer:  Three Words  (8-letters)  (2-letters)  “(5-letters)”

Can You Eat the 'Clean' Part of Moldy Bread?

Answer:  PARTNERS IN GRIME

(An excellent stinky pun!  This one had me guessing for quite a while.  Mostly because of the excellent answer letter layout.  The only thing I knew for certain was that the two letter word was going to be AT or IN.  I never even entertained the thought of IT or AN.

All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends.  Ralis95 isn’t missing a thing today, except for a challenging puzzle.  However, every one of the jumbles came up as new for me.  None of them tripped me up though.  Like I said above, I thought the answer letter layout was a very challenging fifteen letter jumble.  I was semi-close with the last word, when I thought it might be GERMS.  But, it made no sense to be en-quoted!  I also thought that the first word might end in ING, but that meant that GERMS couldn’t be right, and I couldn’t come up with a good ING word.  I even tried the all vowels and all consonants, in alpha order, on different lines gambit.  But, GMNNPRRRST and AEEII didn’t help me . . . much.  I did toy with word one being STARRING though.  And, something? about that got me to PARTNERS which led me to the answer.

Silly cartoon of a couple of slackers, who – I guess – have a weekend, or vacation, home of some kind.  I don’t like to leave my house for even an hour with dirty dishes in the sink!  The rest of my house can look like a hurricane hit it, but our sink is always clear!  Super Jumble!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

**PS.  I read yesterday that our friend Jeff’s daughter, Sydney, has tested positive for the RONA!  She’s young and strong, but this virus is very random and unpredictable.  Please think only positive thoughts for her speedy recovery!  If you’re prone to prayer, please say one for her.  Every little bit helps, folks.   —   YUR

Hi, The first jumble is missing the D (extra G). How many times do we have to see Absurd and Podium…used way too often! Enjoy your posts!
