Answer: SET IN STONE
(I think this qualifies as a groaner of a stinky pun. The buyer thinks he’s a real horse trader. He thinks he can haggle with the shop keeper, but the shop keeper’s resolve is immovable. He is as resolute as the Rock of Gibraltar!
Believe it, or not, we have a brand new clue word today, in “boxer”! Our good friend, ralis95, will have to update his world famous clue word database. I was a little surprised that we hadn’t seen it before today. All of today’s jumbles also are coming up as new. I even had to back into “boxer”. Sometimes, when the jumble starts with two letters as the actual word does, I get kind of thrown off. The answer letter layout is a tenacious ten letter jumble. But, the final answer slots enabled me to see the final answer despite not having the O and the other E.
Great antique shop cartoon. I doubt that’s an Amati hanging on the wall, but you never know. I see he’s also selling the – possibly – Ming temple/foo dog, that we saw a few days ago. And, an ancient Jumble puzzle book. Maybe it was written by Henri Arnold and Bob Lee. Very valuable. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
