(Using one of my favorite expressions as a stinky pun, huh?  That’s okay.  We’re all friends.  Actually, David L. and I are distant cousins.  Probably very distant, but I’m sure we have a familial link.  I should do one of those Ancestry.com things, to see which branch each of us is hanging from.

Would you believe that we have a brand new clue word today, in “muddle”?  It’s not on the current ralis95 clue word database, but I’m guessing it will be added after today’s puzzle.  We’ve seen the jumble “lordl” before, but the other three are coming up as new.  I had to back into “trauma”.  I thought it was a very sneaky jumble.  Fortunate for me, there was enough answer letters for me to get the final answer without it.  All the L’s, E’s, and the R and V made it pretty easy for me to see it.  But, a fine answer letter layout.
