Clue/Question: They had returned, and everyone agreed that the Apollo 11 Astronauts were – – –

Answer: DOWN TO EARTH
(Of course they were! Just three regular guys. Mike, Neil and Buzz. But, they’re three of the most famous astronauts of all time! Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first two humans to walk on the moon. Mike Collins was the “wheelsman”. He had to keep circling the block – 30 times – watching out for moon police and space pirates. Without him though Buzz and Neil woulda been stuck up there.
All familiar old clue words today. And, it appears that all of the jumbles are new too. I found the five letter ones fairly challenging. I saw the six letter ones right away. The answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble. Expertly encrypted! I’m embarrassed to say that I struggled with the final answer. So, I’m giving all the credit to Hoyt’s great answer letter layout.
Another top-notch historical cartoon from Mr. Knurek too. At first I thought I was looking at the Smothers Brothers, but once I started reading it I wised up. Fun Jumble. It had . . . the right stuff! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
