Clue/Question:  With so many owls in the same place, it was hard to tell – – –

Answer:  WHO‘S “HOO“

(Ohh!  Wise-guy, huh?  This pun is too cute to be considered stinky.  Owls are such fascinating creatures.  I usually take the Gary Larson approach to creationism.  So, when God realized that he’d made way too many small mammals, and they were multiplying too quickly, he created hawks and owls!  The hawks would handle the day shift, and the owls got the night shift.  Together they keep the rodent and rabbit populations in check.  With a little help from cats, coyotes, and foxes, of course.  Uncle Rave explains it all!

No new clue words today.  I thought maybe “woozy”, but it was on the ralis95 database.  And, “zowyo” has been used as a jumble before.  So has “sloas”!   I guess he regularly hears Claire say:  Git yer sloas down here!  JKLOL!  The other two jumbles came up as new.  The answer letter layout was a short seven letter jumble.   Without thinking, I wrote down WHO’S WHO.  Then, I realized there was only the one W, so I fixed it.
