“I opened the door for a lot of people, and they just ran through and left me holding the knob.” — Bo Diddley
(Strangely enough . . . I kind of know how he feels! When I started this blog nobody was posting spoilers to word games! Now see how many sites there are?! But, if you listen closely, playing softly in the background, of each of my posts . . . the Bo Diddley beat! Ride On, Josephine! LOL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

You da man, hal! — YUR
You’re so welcome, UR- You never cease to amaze me…you surely must qualify for the ‘All-Time-Quality+Longevity Jumble+Crypto Blog award’! …
..the Jumble/Cryptoquote world would be a barren tundra without your daily blogs. Deep Appreciation from Indy! (PS, do you watch the Indy 500??)
I used to follow car racing as a boy/teen, but I strangely lost interest in it after I got my drivers license! I used to follow all the major sports back then, even soccer, golf and tennis. Nowadays I can barely keep up with my favorite baseball and football teams. Occasionally, I’ll follow a little hockey, and even less basketball. Why do you ask, jenn?

To be fair to yourself, it’s easier to keep up on all-things sports when we’re younger and have fewer responsibilities and time constraints. Just asking because ‘Indy’ makes me think of the Indy 500 qualifications/shoot out this past weekend, (my thoughts bounce around like Ricochet Rabbit!) with Marco Andretti taking the pole…which is so good for Indycar. Very odd to have the 500 in August, but I’m happy it’s happening at all, with all the sports cancellations. At least the Indy area gets to see it on TV this year- no fans allowed at the track, so they lifted the blackout, YAY!!!
Good luck to your baseball (Mets!) and football (Bills!) teams this year!
jenn
Kinda like how horse racing’s Triple Crown is all changed up this year! I’ve never understood why they allow SO many entrants to the Kentucky Derby! I’ve always thought that more than a dozen just pollutes the entire field. The best horse doesn’t always win because of all the clutter. Even though it’s far from being the first leg this year, I’m hearing that there will again be about 20 horses! Crazy.
Thanks for the Mets and Bills well wishes, jenn! They’ll need it. — YUR
