(This might be one of the best Jumble puns in a very long time! It feels very original to me. How about you guys? All I know is that I liked it!
None of the clue words came up as new, but all of the jumbles did! I don’t remember any of them stumping me. The answer letter layout was a fine nine letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it. The big clues were the quotation marks and the dash!
Great cartoon of a couple looking for their dream domicile. The realtor lady, or landlady, made a very quick sale! I just love a happy ending, don’t you?! Rest In Peace, Olivia de Havilland! Your Melanie was the sweetest character in “Gone With The Wind”! Scarlett was a bitch. Ashley loved you! And, you were the last of that movie’s stars! 104 years was a great run. And, hopefully you were unaware of the utter nonsense surrounding GWTW. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

She sure did it. A very smart lady, with another goddess of the silver screen as her best frenemy sis (there’s probably no other act so perfectly plotted between two sisters), she had to be. For a while, they (alternately) ruled the world of cinemaniacs and dreamers like my dad, probably. Frankly.
Ms de Havilland turned into a grand-looking old lady in her latter years !
