(Belated) Cryptoquote Spoiler – 07/24/20

The Hawker Hurricane - the forgotten star of the Battle of Britain.

It’s not good enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what’s required.”   —   Sir Winston Churchill

(Essentially, do . . . or die!  The Luftwaffe was larger and better equipped than the RAF.  But, the British fighter pilots were fighting for their homes and their families.  They prevailed, largely because they knew they had to.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Perhaps it was the songs they were hearing and dreaming to at the time, I’d (unrequitedly) offer. They sang of a promised land that would make much more sense paying attention too than to the reality of destruction and death they were experiencing. The Standards from both sides of the pond. They made people indestructible with hope. Nothing makes that much sense any longer.
