Clue/Question: She didn’t plan on purchasing a lottery ticket, but did it – – –
Answer: “BUY“ CHANCE
(Excellent stinky pun, using one of the boy’s more reliable Jumble homophones. Jeff likes to portray himself as this Indie, hip kind of guy, always sporting the Wilco tee shirts. But, in reality, he’s secretly a big NSYNC fan. He just loves *By Buy Bye*! He’ll try to say that they’re Sydney’s favorite boy band, from her kiddie days, but I just think he has a little thing for Lance Bass. LOL!
All of today’s clue words were reliable old re-runs. Three of the jumbles came up as new for me, but we’ve most definitely seen “snivha” before. No stumpers for me today. The answer letter layout was a fine nine letter jumble. It was cryptic enough. The quotation marks in the final answer slots were the big give away.
Nice convenience store cartoon. Stereotypical looking clerk. Great attention to detail, with the wall of SODA and WATER, the bags and canisters of chips, the lottery machine and the security camera. That Jumble Jackpot is really up there! Ya know, word-on-the-street has it that Hoyt is actually a big Backstreet Boys fan too! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I don’t know, UR…I’d say when it comes to music, Jeff’s taste does run a little bit more sophisticated…and edgy than NSYNC. Not that there’s anything wrong with NSYNC…After all, they did give us Justin Timberlake…(oh wait…that’s my fetish)…😉 But I have Jeff’s CD, “Risk Taking is Free”, and it’s a wonderfully eclectic mix of rock, blues, pop and there’s even a taste of country thrown in. It’s easy on the ears, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Now David, on the other hand…No, no…definitely not the Backstreet Boys. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, I think I heard that he’s a big Bee Gees fan…And he’s especially fond of this wonderful piece of music… https://tinyurl.com/y3yhervj. 😉 Be well, UR…and stay safe out there. 🎶🙋🏻♀️
Wow, Ange. I’m both dumbfounded, and taken aback, by your literal take on my post. To paraphrase Robert Plant: Does anyone remember laughter?
Sorry you didn’t get it. Hopefully, Jeff and David will see the humor in it.

Oh no…I’m sorry if it didn’t come across in the manner it was intended…🤷🏻♀️ Trust me, it’s all good. And of course I saw the humor in your comments..I literally LOL’ed…Aside from the appreciation of Jeff’s CD, the rest was all in fun…C”mon…David’s favorite song being “Words”? You didn’t see the humor in that? 😉All in fun, UR…all in fun. Hope you enjoy your night. Be well and stay safe out there…🙋🏻♀️
PS…That first line should read that I’m sorry if my comment didn’t come across in the manner in which it was intended…🙋🏻♀️
Looks like crankshaft may be doing the jumble thing all week. Today was the third mention this week. Today’s was especially groan worthy as crankshaft mentioned he finally found the jumbo and can go to the bathroom.the lady mentioned to crankshaft granddaughter the jumble was crankshaft game of thrones…groan
Hey, Randy! It looks like the streak ended with Wednesday. But, I know the guys enjoyed the attention! Jeff Knurek has even posted a few to his Facebook page! Yeah. “Game of Thrones” was a real stinker. Thanks for adding to the conversation. — YUR
Ange,
The trouble with tiny urls is that there is absolutely no way of knowing WHAT is in them, until you open them. I wasn’t in the mood to open it, at that point of reading your comment, so: Yes, I didn’t see the humor. I’m generally not someone who tries tell anyone how to write, as you can see in how I allow Ken’s occasional eccentricities, but it would’ve been nice if you had led with some acknowledgement that you found my post humorous. An LOL at least? Don’t make me beg. LOL!
The guys and I have been pals since . . . well, since I was the only game online. They know my fondness for ribbing them, about a variety of things. I’m the mouthy Uncle that they never asked for!
Anyway, your apology is accepted. Sorry I didn’t open the tiny url. Yes, “Words” being Hoyt’s favorite song is very funny.

LOL! I have a thing for Justin Timberlake. And Syd’s favorite boy-band is and was One Direction. That’s the “Story of My Life”.
