Visual Description: Homeschooling junior.
PLAAH = ALPHA, PIYML = IMPLY, LONREL = ENROLL, TRABET = BATTER — Giving us: AAIMLNOLTTE
Clue/Question: He was able to understand the concept of zero seconds in – – –
Answer: NO TIME AT ALL
(The child’s mind is a tabula rasa. Be careful to fill it with facts and truths . . . and positivity. Reserve the “fairy tales” for story time. And, let them know that they are just stories, meant to make various points.
There were no new clue words again today. Two of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “plaah” and “piyml” sometime in the past. No stumpers for me today. The answer letter layout was an impressive eleven letter jumble. Nicely cryptic. The spacing of the answer slots made for a quick solve, for me.
Cute domestic, nuclear family scene cartoon. It’s great to see both parents taking part in teaching their child. Too often it seems to fall to just one or the other. Now, maybe junior will show dad how to work that new phone app!
Please continue to wear a face covering whenever you visit a store, restaurant, or any public place. Do your best to maintain social distancing. And, frequently – and thoroughly – wash your hands before even thinking about touching your face; eyes, nose, or mouth especially. Even yer Uncle has some mixed feelings about this whole COVID-19 thing, but I don’t think that these simple steps are asking too much. Do these things, if not for yourself, then do it for others. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Gee, unc ! That’s starting to sound like something personal !
I hope everything’s okay ? ?
The CoVid-19 quarantine is starting to get to so many people.
Well said there’s benefits in observing these even in normal times I wish the stubborn leaders would see the light

UR, there’s a curious backhanded plug for the Daily Jumble in today’s comic strip “Crankshaft.”
I always do The Jumble at the kitchen table, roy. Occasionally, I solve the Cryptoquote in the bathroom though! LOL! — YUR
Nope, lwc. I think that was just your interpretation. Not sure why. It was probably the furthest things from one of my rants. — YUR
Well, I’m counting myself lucky that, thus far, I’ve gotten through this CoVid-19 mess unscathed.
I don’t know if it’s good luck or good genes, but I’m wishing the best for all of us.
Glad to hear it, lwc. Same here. Some genetics possibly, type O + blood, and I take more vitamin D3 than most people do. Or, it could just all be luck! I’m not one to get sick. The occasional cold, that sometimes turns into bronchitis, but even that is pretty rare for me. — YUR
That concept fascinated my students.
