Answer: YOU JUST DID
(Ahh! That old gag. I don’t think today’s answer qualifies as a pun, and that’s a little unusual. It’s just what teachers say when they want to stress good grammar. Or actually, point out bad grammar. Maybe it’s not so much grammar, as it’s a matter of politeness. CAN goes more to ability, while MAY goes more to permission. Arguably, they’re pretty interchangeable today.
No new clue words today. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “liogo” sometime in the past. The answer letter layout was a cryptic eleven letter jumble. Not too obvious.
Standard classroom scene cartoon. Hopefully, we’ll get to the point where our kids can attend in-school classes, come this Fall. This remote learning leaves a lot to be desired, but it was our only recourse. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

UR,
The thought of having remote learning for a whole school year is rather frightening.×
This would generally put a big strain on the whole family. The “Family Unit” around the world seems to be in enough stress as things stand right now!?…….
By the way, todays Jumble Puzzle was a pleasure in all aspects**^
Lattttter…
Yeah I think we all had a few teachers and/or relatives who had snappy comebacks for kids asking “CAN I…?” when they meant “May I?”
/rolls eyes/ Yes, Mrs. Purcell.
Well, I thought the teacher had an attitude. That, obviously, was not the question the student wanted to ask. It didn’t feel too good too good to me. Maybe it brought up an old school memory. As a jumble itself, it was good. LndaLee
