Answer:  RESTALKED THE SHELVES

(Very cute, stinky pun!  You can also add fennel, Swiss chard, fiddleheads, and rhubarb to the list of vegetables that come in stalks.  I’ve loved rhubarb since I was a little kid.  My next-door neighbors, the Storantz’s, grew it in their garden, and they’d give it to my mom and dad.  They’d boil it up with sugar, or something, and make this tangy, tasty, gloppy stew.  It is rich in potassium and also contains Vitamin C and calcium.  Sometimes you see it mixed with strawberries, in pies.  Tasty stuff.

I’m seeing no new clue words today!  No need to roust ralis95.  Four of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen both “lonelp” and “nlahed” at some point in time.  I thought the jumble for “versus” was fairly challenging.  The answer letter layout was a splendid sixteen letter jumble.  By itself, it wasn’t obvious.  The quotation marks and the hyphen were the biggest clues, for me.

Great grocery/supermarket produce aisle cartoon.  The lower shelf looks like it could be fennel.  I’m not sure if I’ve ever had fiddleheads before.  Maybe, in a salad?  WordPress does NOT like the word “fiddleheads”!  Maybe the Brits call it something else???  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
