Confidence is going after Moby Dick in a rowboat and taking tartar sauce with you.”   —   Zig Ziglar

(Hilarious!  A little misguided, as whales are not fish, but comedians rely on certain words for laughs.  They always call chimpanzees monkeys, because the word monkey is a funnier word . . . according to some.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Clue/Question:  Getting Penny Marshall and Tom Hanks to star in the 1988 film was a – – –

Fortune Telling All-Seeing Trump Zoltar Stalks NYC Street Corners ...

Answer:  BIG DEAL

(“Big” was such a sweet movie.  The grown up Josh Baskin was played perfectly by Tom Hanks.  And, the movie was directed perfectly by Penny Marshall.  I miss Myrna Turna – probably Turner, but you know those Noo Yowka accents!  Wikipedia kinda downplays this as her first role that brought her recognition, and jumps immediately to “Laverne and Shirley”.

We appear to have a new clue word today, in “filth”.  We’ve definitely had filthy before, but “filth” is not on the January version of the ralis95 clue word database.  Strangely enough, we’ve had the jumble “hlifty”.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “olaka” having been used before.  Fine seven letter answer letter layout jumble.

I like today’s Tom Hanks better than last week’s!  Good Penny Marshall.  I was a little surprised that Jeff felt he had to alter the name of the fortune telling machine.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR

China thought the tragic COVID-19 diversion was perfect to crush Hong Kong pro-democracy movement. Instead, it turned the world against it and fueled President Trump’s conspiracy claims blaming it for the virus and for all he hasn’t done about it. Also, Hongkongers won’t take it lying down.
Not to sound spoiled, but let’s face it, we’re not doing too well. With close to 5.5 million cases worldwide, the coronavirus pandemic is still expanding albeit at a slower rate in some places, and according to epidemiologists we’re still at least a year from a vaccine if one…
