(Wow!  A fairly challenging Jumble, for a Monday morning.  Kind of a mixed metaphor, as the phrase originated with the sport of boxing.  But, I guess it has become more universal.  For “Lefty” here, it looks like it’s time to leave!

All of today’s clue words have been used before.  Three of the four jumbles appear to be new, with “zwtal” having definitely been used before.  I always have a little trouble seeing “native” for some reason.  The answer letter layout was a formidable twelve letter jumble.  I don’t think it gave anything away.  I guess I saw THROW first, then I got the pun.

Jeff loves his Cubbies.  I still can’t believe they fired Joe Maddon!  I like David Ross . . . as a catcher!  But, the man has no managerial experience . . . at any level!  I can’t wait for my Mets to hire my favorite hotdog vendor!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
