Clue/Question:  They weren’t sure which animal hospital to take their dog to, so they did some – – –

Answer:  VETTING

(A wonderful stinky pun.  There is always SO MUCH vetting going on these days.  Too much, in my opinion.  “You mean to tell me, that back in 1977 – when absolutely no one questioned these kind of things – you cornered an ex-girlfriend of yours in the kitchen, at a party, while her date was in the other room?  And you forcefully kissed her – against her will – until she melted in your arms???”  I cannot confirm, nor deny, this story, O Mistress of #MeToo.

Wouldn’t you guys think that we’d seen “witch” before?  Well, not according to the world famous ralis95 clue word database!  It ain’t there, folks!  Which makes it a new clue word!  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “slenet” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a concise seven letter jumble.  Before reading the dialog and clue/question I thought I was seeing vignette, which made me curious as to why this set up would result in that?  Of course, I was lacking an E anyway.  And, I did read them immediately after, and got the answer right away.
