(Too true, Ed! Unfortunately, I believe they ARE in the majority, and too many of them DO control the world! Why “bailout” the airlines and other big corporations, at the taxpayers’ expense, when they can borrow as much money as they want/need at basically 0% interest? Money should only be going to small businesses and the workers who can’t pay their bills. Despite the ridiculousness of “corporate personhood”, corporations are NOT people. Exactly! In fact, as a retiree, I’m looking at sending a large portion of whatever check I get to folks in my life who have been laid off, like my hairdresser, favorite wait staff, etc. My monthly money is still coming in.
