(Christ on a bike!  Sure and begorrah!  And saints preserve us!  ‘Tis Saint Paddy’s Day!  Éireann go brách!  And, of course: Sláinte!  Today’s pun is a little silly and contrived, but what the heck!  All things considered, I’d rather be downing a pint of Guinness stout than looking up Irish phrases, but you guys deserve a little extra on a grand day that has been a little dampened by a Corona.  Virus that is!

Davey-boy O’Hoyt has given us a brand new clue word today in “larger”!  Our dear friend, O’Ralis95, will have to update his world famous clue word database!  The vaunted list already had large, but I guess now it’s getting “larger”!  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, though we’ve definitely seen “sokki” before.  The answer letter layout almost looked Gaelic, to me!  Thirteen letters, arranged in a pucuylrer way!  

Séathrún McKnurek gave us a fine wash-room scene.  I bet on his color proof the characters have red hair!  The bottle of laundry detergent, on the shelf, looks like it could be Cheer!  Appropriate word for this day of toasting!  Be well and do good, fiends.  May the road rise to meet you . . . and stuff like that!)   —   YUR
