Pre-Answer: Four Words (2-letters) (5-letters) (5-letters) (3-letters)

Answer: ON THEIR “MARRY“ WAY
(Ah, the happy couple. Off to consummate the conjugal contract of their nuptials! Have you ever noticed how many of us – most of us? – pronounce the word as nuptual, but it is spelled nuptial??? English is a wacky language. On their merry way is a quaint expression. I doubt you’ll hear many Millennials use it. Other than Merry Christmas, you don’t really hear the word merry anymore. There’s a pretty girl who works one of our local pizza shops who’s an aspiring singer. I asked her what genre, and she acted as though she’d never heard the word before. I sure hope she sings as good as she looks!
There are no new clue words this day. Five of the jumbles do appear to be new though. We’ve definitely seen “rulhoy” before. I thought both “cirwek” and “inoied” were fairly challenging. The answer letter layout was an outstanding fifteen letter jumble. If you weren’t able to pick up on the pun right away you might have struggled to get the final answer. The quotation marks were a big clue!
Fine wedding reception cartoon. The celebrants look a little like Donna Pescow and John Travolta! I always thought Donna was kinda cute! Maybe Jeff caught a little “Saturday Night Fever” on TV last week! I watched a couple of minutes of it before switching over to “McFarland, USA”. The wife and I recommend “McFarland, USA”. Very wholesome and uplifting story. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
