(A dominating sports pun!  We are quickly approaching March Madness, folks.  Be prepared for a few more basketball puns in the next few weeks.  ‘Tis the season, and stuff like that.  A lot of your regular TV shows will be pre-empted for games, and the competing networks will most likely air reruns.  

All six of today’s clue words are familiar old friends.  I thought maybe “opaque” might be new, but no.  Surprisingly, all of today’s jumbles appear to be new.  Nice job, Hoyt!  The answer letter layout was a splendid sixteen letter jumble.  If you didn’t pick up on the clue/question you might have struggled to get this final answer.
