Answer:  A STONES THROW AWAY

(Marvelous stinky pun!  Even the non-rockers who do the Jumble, and follow this blog, should have been able to pick up on this pun.  Keith’s comment seems to be the only one that doesn’t reference a song title, but “toss” was the bonus clue to the THROW portion of the final answer.

All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends again.  No need to bother ralis95.  Five of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “miswhy” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was an awesome sixteen letter jumble.  By itself I don’t think it gave a thing away.  The apostrophe was enough for me to figure out STONE’S, which led me to the full pun.

Great cartoon of Mick and the boys!  Boy, do they ever look old.  LOL!  It’s hard to believe that they are still around, rockin’ it out, at their ages.  Mick especially is like the Energizer Bunny!  Fun Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I agree it’s a pretty easy puzzle, if you see the correct grid. The non-Flash edition of online Jumble today such as at the Seattle Times shows the final answer letter pattern:
    (1-letter) (5-letter) [apostrophe] (10-letter)
I spent a couple minutes trying to solve it. I figured it was A STONE’S… something but, go figure, didn’t see or try STHROWAWAY as the third word. (Actually, THROWAWAY can be spelled as one word, but that space between the S and T is fairly important.)

I came here to see the real letter pattern without peeking at the answer, and then unscrambled it right away.

Oy, oy, oy. This puzzler has held me hostage for a few days. I’m concerned my mind has issues because this is the second puzzle in about a weeks time that has all but stumped me. And I had the words…..except for STONES. Good grief!! I was looking for a contraction, not a possessive!!

Love that one of the clue words was MEDLEY! The boys are so clever!

I’m blaming it all on the flu and pneumonia that left mentally and physically wrung out, and the fact that I can’t hardly have a thought without being interrupted—too much going on! Yes, that’s it!

    Fa,la,la,la,la y’all!! LindaLee
