Visual Description: Three songs . . . and a clue.
KAANWE = Yes, WE KAAN er, I mean AWAKEN, TOTEAR = ROTATE, DEMYEL = MEDLEY, FRADIT = ADRIFT, MISWHY = WHIMSY, SPOEPO = OPPOSE — Giving us: AWNOATEYARTWHSOS
Clue/Question: The garbage can in the studio used by Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie was – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (1-letter) (6-letter’s) (5-letters (4-letters)
Answer: A STONE‘S THROW AWAY
(Marvelous stinky pun! Even the non-rockers who do the Jumble, and follow this blog, should have been able to pick up on this pun. Keith’s comment seems to be the only one that doesn’t reference a song title, but “toss” was the bonus clue to the THROW portion of the final answer.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends again. No need to bother ralis95. Five of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “miswhy” having definitely been used before. The answer letter layout was an awesome sixteen letter jumble. By itself I don’t think it gave a thing away. The apostrophe was enough for me to figure out STONE’S, which led me to the full pun.
Great cartoon of Mick and the boys! Boy, do they ever look old. LOL! It’s hard to believe that they are still around, rockin’ it out, at their ages. Mick especially is like the Energizer Bunny! Fun Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
