Visual Description: The Two Billy Goats Gruff?
GYROL = GLORY, PIENT = INEPT, LTEERN = RELENT, DRROBE = BORDER — Giving us: GLRITRLEBOD
Clue/Question: The folklore characters wanted to cross the river but didn’t want to use the – – –

Answer: “TROLL“ BRIDGE
(A “fare” pun! I liked it! It definitely wasn’t a tough Jumble, for me. But, it was a fun one. I haven’t thought of this children’s folklore story in ages. I know the goats eventually prevail, but I don’t remember how. Anybody out there remember how it ends?
We actually seem to have a brand new clue word today, in “border”. Unless it came up in a Sunday Jumble this is its first usage. Ralis95 will have to add it to his world famous clue word database. Two of the jumbles are coming up as new, with both “gyrol” and “pient” having definitely been used before. It took me a few looks to get “relent”, and even longer to get “border”. The answer letter layout was a great eleven letter jumble. It did a fine job of disguising the final answer.
A really great cartoon. Jeff could draw for children’s books. The troll looks like the old troll dolls . . . only meaner looking. And, the goats look cute. Great stone bridge crossing the river too. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
